These Terms and Conditions of Calor Teoranta and of Calor Gas Northern Ireland
Limited trading as Calor Gas, Calor Ireland, and Calor Kosangas, together (referred to
as "Calor", "we", "us" and "our"), apply to customers who sign up to the E-Billing
service offered by Calor via calorgas.ie and mycalorgas.com (together “the Website”).
Registering for E-Billing:
- In order to avail of E-Billing you must have an online account with Calor on mycalorgas.com.
- To register for E-Billing, you must log into your mycalorgas.com online account and choose 'E-Billing'
which can be found in the left-hand menu of the site.
- By choosing E-Billing, you instruct Calor to stop sending paper bills/invoices/credit notes/statements in the post.
- It is your responsibility to instruct Calor to send a notification that a bill is available for review and payment by email,
text message or by email and text message.
- To activate E-Billing you must choose a method of notification from the following: email, text message or both.
You must choose at least one method of notification.
- You must then read the Terms and Conditions before ticking the Terms and Conditions box and pressing 'Submit'.
- It is your responsibility to provide Calor with an up-to-date email address and mobile phone number, at all times.
Please choose the 'Modify my Profile' option of your mycalorgas.com online account to update or modify your account.
Security:
- To register as a user of your account online you must be the account holder or be
authorised by the account holder. If you are not the account holder or an authorised
person you are committing a serious offence under the Criminal Justice (Theft and
Fraud Offences) Act, 2001.
- We will only allow you to log on and use mycalorgas.com using your registered
email address and your password.
- It is your responsibility to keep your log in details for your mycalorgas.com online
account. If you have a security issue regarding your account you must notify Calor
immediately. You can contact the customer service team on 01 450 5000 (Republic
Of Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “R.O.I.”)) or 028 9045 5588 (Northern Ireland
(hereinafter referred to as “N.I.”).
Terminating The Service:
- You can turn off E-Billing at any time by clicking on 'E-Billing' which can be found
in the left hand menu of your mycalorgas.com online account. You must deselect
the E-Billing option and press 'Submit'.
- Once you turn off E-Billing Calor will stop sending you notifications by email, text
message or both and will return to sending a paper bill/invoice in the post.
- Calor reserves the right to withdraw its E-Billing service at any time by giving you prior written notification.
Payment
- You are still liable to pay your bills/invoices when they fall due by whatever means chosen.
- If you fail to make a payment, your Liquefied Petroleum Gas (“LPG”) supply may be
disconnected/suspended, and you will be subject to the terms and conditions in the
LPG supply agreement you subscribed to with Calor and any additional terms and
conditions that you have subscribed to.
Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither Calor nor any of its
employees, affiliates or other representatives will be liable for loss or damages
arising out of or in connection with your use of, or your inability to use, the facilities
or services offered through the Website, including, but not limited to, indirect or
consequential loss or damages, loss of data, income, profit or opportunity, loss of or
damage to property and claims of third parties, even if Calor has been advised of
the possibility of such loss or damages, or such loss or damages were reasonably
foreseeable.
Data Protection
- Republic of Ireland: Calor is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers in
compliance with its obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1998 and 2003 and
General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) to administer your
account and to provide our services and products.
- Northern Ireland: Calor is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers in
compliance with its obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK General
Data Protection Regulation (“UKGDPR”) and any legislation in Northern Ireland to
implement the UKGDPR, to administer your account and to provide our services
and products.

Availability and Force majeure
- Although Calor endeavours to ensure the Website is available at all times, there
may be occasions when interruption to the Website may occur, e.g. to allow
maintenance, upgrades and emergency repairs to take place, or due to failure of
telecommunications links and equipment that are beyond our control. You agree
that Calor shall not be liable to you for any loss incurred by you resulting from the
modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Website. You have sole
responsibility for adequate protection and back up of any content and data you
submit to the Website and for undertaking reasonable and appropriate precautions
to scan for computer viruses or other destructive properties.
Acceptance of terms
- By signing up for E-Billing on the Website you are signifying your agreement, that
you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Your use of the E-Billing service will be subject to the most current version of the
Terms and Conditions published at the time of such use. If you breach any of the
Terms and Conditions, your authorisation to use E-Billing may be terminated.
Additional Terms And Conditions
- As a E-Billing customer you are still subject to the terms and conditions in the LPG supply agreement you subscribed to with Calor.
- Calor reserves the right to suspend the E-Billing service at any time, for such reasons as we may consider necessary to allow us to inspect, repair, maintain or revise the website, systems and or processes.
- Calor reserves the right to change the terms and conditions from time to time by giving you notice on www.calorgas.ie website. If you continue to use the service after being notified of the changes you will be bound by the changes.
- Calor reserves the right to withdraw its E-Billing service at any time by giving you prior written notification.
- This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of
the Irish Courts (excluding Northern Ireland) if you are a customer within the
Republic of Ireland and by the laws of Northern Ireland if you are a customer within
Northern Ireland and you agree that the Irish Courts (excluding Northern Ireland)
and the Courts in Northern Ireland, where appropriate shall have exclusive
jurisdiction to resolve any controversy or claim of whatever nature arising out of
or relating to this Agreement or any alleged breach of it.
